Symphonie's Birthday

Happy Birthday Symphonie!!
Today Symphonie is turning 11 years old. She had a large elaborate birthday party in August. There was a dunk tank, cotton candy, snow cones, hot dogs, swimming pool, and a large inflatable water slide. And lets not forget the amazing artwork that Debbie Satison did with the face paints. It was a joint Birthday party for Symphonie, Watson and Truman. I think it worked out really well. Because for Symphonie and especially Watson their birthdays are so close to Christmas, it was fun to do something in the summer. I was wary of how the kids would be when their actual birthdays came around, and it was good. My mom and dad (Grandma Gaye and Papa Ray) took them out on their actual birthdays. In fact i guess Symphonie was having so much fun she didnt want to come home, so she even got a sleepover at Grandmas. Marc and I were going to take her to get her Coldstone birthday icecream, so I guess Marc and I will have to go with out her. She has had several people call today Madison Gianos, Micaela Cordon, Grandma Wheeler and her Aunt Heather, to wish her a happy birthday. I hope she has recieved all the phone calls that I have forwarded to her.

Funny things kids say

2/18/2008 Truman has come up with another reason why he can’t wind down for bed, he says “I have funny stuff in mine brain”, then he wants us to take it out, through his ear, before he will calm down and go to bed.
2/21/2008 Marc was putting the boys to bed, and asked Truman to pick out a story. Truman returns with a book and says “Behold”. It took Marc a second to realize what he Truman had said, so Marc asked if he said Behold, and Truman says “yes, you are the king and I am the kings person, Behold”
2/14/2008 2/14/2008 Truman surprisingly loves Valentines Day. He went every where we went and made sure to tell everyone “happy Valentines day”. He did his usual unruly running and going where he wasn’t suppose to, Like this morning when he got away from me and ran behind the counter at the Elementary school, just to tell the secretaries, a little closer “happy Valentines day”. He also force fed a friend of ours, Allen a candy heart, he just kept telling him “happy Valentines day” and Truman was very upset until Allen finally gave in and ate the candy. Allen said the candy heart was questionably moist. For days after ward, we have given up and agreed that every day is “Happy Valentines day”. It wasn’t until today 8/23 that he explained further. He interrupted my bathroom time to tell me again, that today is “Happy Valentines day”, then further enlightened me with “so you can not be mad, or sad, only Happy!!”
2/20/2008 Today when Truman and I went to South Hills Middle school to pick up Arthur for an ortho appointment, in a room with several people waiting the secretary asked the students name that I needed and I said Arthur Wheeler, then Truman pipes up quickly and says "he is my best friend". it was pretty funny, everyone lauphed and awwed at him.
2/23/2008 Truman is our "funny boy", he insists on us calling him funny boy, that lives in a green house, with green crocodiles, green turtles and who goes to a green school on the green bus. Well he is right, he does say and do some of the funniest things. Last week I took him to see the doctor, while the doctor while trying to listen to his heart, he says "are you trying to listen to the song in mine heart?", then soon after seriously asked his doctor "did you here the song in mine heart?".
12/2007 One snowy Sunday Truman was very frustrated with us because he insisted today was NOT Sunday, then he makes us look out the window and he says "look it is Christmas!!"
1/29/08 After a long winded talk about how Private areas are to be kept private Watson then says after a little bit of thought, "what does private mean"
1/5/08 Truman was the last person to get in the car. As the door opens for him he sees Watson and says with enthusiasm that only a 4 year old has " OOO Hi Watson (said as if Truman was surprised to see Watson), my name is Truman with a T and I am a boy boy boy."
